The Durnford Society Limited - 31 Parkstone Lane

This residential care service provides personal care and support for up to four adults with learning difficulties and autism. At inspection, all four places were occupied. Staff are committed to maximising people's choice, control and independence, supporting them according to their individual preferences and in the least restrictive ways possible. People are enabled to access health and social care support in the community and receive their medicines safely and as prescribed.

The registered manager and staff demonstrate a clear focus on person-centred care, with good knowledge of the service users they support. Risks associated with people's care are assessed and detailed in support plans, which guide staff on actions needed to mitigate risks and keep people safe. The service's policies and systems support staff to act in people's best interests while respecting their dignity and choices.
