The Devonshire Nursing Home

The Devonshire Nursing Home accommodates up to 42 older people with varying nursing care needs. At the time of inspection, 26 residents were living there.

The home maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Cleaning schedules had been updated in response to COVID-19, with regular attention to high-touch and frequently used areas. Dedicated housekeeping and laundry staff, along with care and nursing personnel, had completed COVID-19 and Infection Prevention Control training to ensure safe procedures and prevent infection spread. The home had previously experienced a COVID-19 outbreak among staff and residents.
