Ingham House

Ingham House accommodates 40 older people, including those living with dementia, with 36 residents at the time of inspection. Staff are trained to recognise signs of abuse and risk, with one resident describing it as "a nice and safe place to live." Medicines are administered safely by competent, appropriately trained staff, and care plans and risk assessments protect people's safety and wellbeing. People are supported to take positive risks and maintain choice and control over their lives.

The home is well-maintained and comfortable with sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs. Safe recruitment practices are in place, and the provider uses governance systems to drive continuous improvement. Recent audits have led to practical enhancements, including a reduction in falls following increased staffing. The manager and staff team demonstrate commitment to further developing the service and improving care delivery.
