About Chaseley

Chaseley is a nursing home in East Sussex, providing care for people with health and social care needs. Further detail on the CQC's most recent findings is set out below.

Chaseley provides residential care for people with health and social care needs. Following an assessment prompted by earlier regulatory breaches, the CQC found significant improvements had been made and the service was no longer in breach. Risk management, medicines, staffing levels, complaints handling and care planning had all strengthened, alongside better quality monitoring and governance.

Inspectors found staff knew people well and worked effectively as a team, involving external professionals when needed. People and relatives described staff as kind and caring, felt safe, and praised the home's family-like atmosphere. No concerns were raised about cleanliness or upkeep, and the overall rating is Good.
