The Coach House

The Coach House provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 13 people with acquired neurological conditions resulting from life-changing events or diagnoses. At inspection, 11 people were using the service across three separate floors in one adapted building.

Staff demonstrated good understanding and knowledge of residents' care and support needs, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. However, not all risks relating to individual care needs were formally identified and recorded. Fire safety arrangements were identified as unsafe, with the provider found non-compliant with the Regulatory Reform [Fire Safety] Order 2005 following a visit by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.
