Mayflower Care Home

Mayflower Care Centre provides nursing and residential care for up to 76 older people, currently accommodating 75 residents. The service is organised across five units: Diamond on the ground floor cares for up to 26 frail residents, while Sapphire and Opal units on the first floor serve up to 30 people. Amethyst and Emerald units on the second floor specialise in caring for up to 20 people with complex needs, including those with challenging behaviours and mental health problems.

Relatives and residents described the service as exceptionally well-led, with staff delivering a high standard of care. One relative praised the team, stating: "I just wanted to make you aware of the outstanding job your team have done for my dad. A stressful time was made so much more bearable." A visiting healthcare professional also commended the service, noting: "I was blown away by the skills of all their staff to manage their residents with challenging behaviour."
