The Bridge Care Centre

The Bridge Care Centre provides personal and nursing care for up to 40 adults living with neurological disorders and physical disabilities across four separate units, each with adapted facilities. At the time of inspection, 24 people were staying at the service. People and their relatives expressed high satisfaction with care, with one resident saying, "I am definitely safe and well cared for here," and a relative describing staff as "the most responsive team" who are "empathetic and very intuitive at recognising and trying to understand" their loved one's needs. Staff support people to be as independent as possible whilst maintaining their safety, taking a proactive approach to assessing and managing risk that allows people to rebuild their lives. A health professional noted that "staff interact genuinely with people and are very motivated to provide the best possible care." Medicines systems are well organised and follow national guidance, with staff demonstrating the skilled, knowledgeable approach needed to provide flexible, person-centred support.
