St Mary's Care Home provides personal care for up to 40 people, including those living with dementia. The home had robust infection prevention systems in place, with the environment consistently cleaned including frequently touched surfaces. Staff had received training in putting on and removing PPE, hand hygiene, and infection control procedures, with PPE stations positioned throughout the home for easy access. The registered manager conducted weekly checks to ensure adequate PPE supplies were available.

The home supported residents and relatives to maintain contact through various technologies as well as in-person visits and a dedicated visiting pod on the grounds. People and staff participated in regular testing programmes in line with government guidance, and appropriate vaccination status checks were implemented.
