The Belfry Residential Home

The Belfry Residential Home is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 12 people aged 65 and over, and was supporting 9 people at the time of the assessment. People and relatives spoke positively about the care provided, with one person describing staff as "brilliant" and a relative saying they could not ask for a better place.

The CQC had previously found breaches relating to risk management, medicines and governance. Inspectors found these areas had since improved and were no longer breaches, though further work was still needed to make quality assurance monitoring more robust. The home is rated Good overall, though leadership was rated Requires Improvement.
