The Abbeys

The Abbeys is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 80 people. The CQC inspected after being alerted to an incident, and found the service remained Good overall, with no ongoing risk of harm identified.

Inspectors found a thorough investigation had followed the incident, with lessons learned and reflective practice embedded across the home. People and family members said they felt safe, staff were caring and responsive, and mealtimes were well organised with good choice and attentive support.
