Holly House Residential Home provides personal care to people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder, supporting up to 10 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the service performing well, with effective governance systems following earlier shortfalls. Care was person-centred, promoting dignity, privacy and independence, with risks managed well and enough safely recruited staff.
Inspectors found people felt safe, happy and well supported to make choices, pursue work or volunteering, and take part in activities they enjoyed. People and relatives spoke warmly of staff, describing low turnover and a family-like atmosphere. Feedback about the management team was positive throughout.
