Thames House is a residential care home with 20 bedrooms, supporting people with complex mental health needs, brain injuries, complex dementia and neuro disabilities including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's. The CQC rated the service requires improvement, identifying breaches relating to staffing, effective care and governance. Inspectors found gaps in clinical training, concerns about medicines, inconsistent care records and delays in referrals to other services.

Positives included a safe, clean environment, good continuity of care between services, and staff wellbeing was valued. Feedback from relatives was mixed: some praised staff kindness and management, while others raised concerns about communication, reviews and monitoring of food and fluid intake.
