Thames House

Thames House provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 20 people with Huntington's disease, acquired brain injury and other physical disabilities across two floors. The purpose-built facility offers 20 en-suite bedrooms and maintains safeguarding policies and staff training to protect residents from harm. Environmental checks and risk assessments help keep people safe while supporting healthy lifestyles through access to healthcare professionals, a well-trained staff team and nutritious meal options.

The service supports people to have maximum choice and control in their lives, treating them as individuals and respecting their equality, diversity, sexuality and religion. Staff provide meaningful activities and regularly review care plans, acting on any concerns that arise. The registered manager conducts audits and attends meetings with other organisations to discuss best practice and continuously improve the service. Staff are equipped to support people at the end of their lives, and the service works collaboratively with other organisations to provide consistent, effective care.
