Linden House Care Home

Linden House Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 30 older people, people with physical disabilities, and those living with dementia, with accommodation on the ground floor. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 30 residents.

Concerns were raised by people, relatives, and staff about staffing levels, with reports that residents did not always receive support when needed and that staff numbers were insufficient to monitor people and keep them safe. Inspectors found unpleasant odours in some areas and identified issues with environmental cleanliness. Audits of hygiene and infection control were not always completed regularly, and when shortfalls were identified, improvements were not always made promptly.
