Granada House

Granada House provides residential care for up to 13 older people, many living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 10 residents were living there. The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures, including temperature checks for all visitors and staff, with visitors required to complete health questionnaires before entry. Signage restricted access to the home, and essential visits were pre-booked only. Staff wore face masks and used hand sanitising gel at the start of shifts, with sanitising stations placed throughout the building.

The home maintained contact between residents and their families through alternative arrangements where in-person visits were limited. These included telephone calls, email, and video calls, with staff supporting one person to write letters to loved ones. The registered manager reported that visiting arrangements had been clearly communicated to relatives and friends.
