Street Farm

Street Farm provides residential care and personal care to up to 11 people with learning disabilities across a main house accommodating 6 people and 5 flats. At inspection, all 11 available places were in use. The service design is larger than typically considered ideal for person-centred care, though the service demonstrates it can meet these principles through its arrangement of separate flats and individualised support. People are supported by staff to pursue their interests and work towards personal aspirations and goals. The service works with people to develop plans for managing periods of distress, ensuring restrictions on freedom are used only as a last resort when no alternatives exist.
