Stoneleigh House

Stoneleigh House, in Dudley, is a residential care home providing accommodation for up to 24 older people, including those living with dementia, mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding personalised, person-centred care with enough skilled staff and good access to community activities.

Inspectors found some minor concerns around medicines management, including a stock count discrepancy and inconsistent recording, along with gaps in checking sensor mats and identifying trends in accidents. People and relatives spoke positively of kind, attentive staff, meaningful activities and an approachable manager. Previous breaches relating to governance and dignity had been resolved.
