Woodbridge House

Woodbridge House provides personal care to up to ten people with learning disabilities and autistic people in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, nine people were resident at the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns with risk management. The home lacked effective safeguards for people at risk of constipation and choking, and did not have adequate training or support strategies to help staff respond to residents experiencing emotional distress. Medicines were not always managed safely, with unclear protocols for staff administering 'as required' medications. Incidents were not consistently recorded or reviewed to identify learning opportunities and prevent future occurrences.
