Stanwell Rest Home

This care home supports up to 38 people living with dementia, mental health needs, or other care requirements across a main building and eight purpose-built apartments. At inspection, 33 people were receiving care. The service provides multiple communal lounge areas and a communal garden for residents to use.

Inspectors found that staff knew residents well and understood how to keep them safe. However, improvements were needed in several areas. Medicines were not always stored and managed safely in line with manufacturers' advice. Some individual risks to people were not consistently identified or thoroughly assessed, and care records were not always complete or kept up to date.
