Ashwood Rest Home

Ashwood Rest Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 39 older adults, including people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 29 people were living at the service. The CQC rated the home Good overall, following a focused review of how risks and safety were managed.

Inspectors found the provider acted quickly to fix window restrictors and improve stair risk assessments once concerns were raised. Other safety systems, including fire and water safety, were sound, and staff understood people's needs well. People living there said they felt safe and well cared for, with a positive, learning-focused culture evident throughout.
