St Winifred's Nursing Home

St Winifred's is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 38 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection there were 32 people using the service. One resident said, "I am lucky to be here. My relative found this place and I have not been disappointed. They look after you really well."

People receive their medicines when needed with safe systems in place. Staff understand how to manage risks to people and know the processes for managing any allegations of abuse. Staffing levels are sufficient to meet people's needs and keep them safe. Improvements since the previous inspection have resulted in better outcomes for people using the service.
