Cleveland House Care Home

Cleveland House Care Home is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to 27 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 45 residents. The three-storey building is accessed by passenger lift, with single rooms and shared toilet and bathing facilities on each floor. Outside, there is a garden with seating areas.

Infection prevention and control measures were not consistently applied across the service. Some senior staff members were not wearing personal protective equipment correctly, and one senior staff member wore clothes that increased the risk of infection transmission. Staff were not consistently maintaining social distancing. Although audits were regularly completed, these did not consistently identify issues that needed to be addressed.
