About Astley Grange

Astley Grange is a nursing home in Kirklees, providing nursing and personal care for older people. Details from the Care Quality Commission's most recent inspection are set out below.

Astley Grange provides nursing and personal care for up to 40 older people across three floors, with a designated scheme on the ground floor for up to 11 people. At inspection, 21 people were residing at the service. The home has implemented robust infection prevention and control policies aligned with government guidance.

The premises are clean, tidy and well maintained, with enhanced cleaning schedules that are regularly monitored. The service can effectively support zoning of people and cohorting of staff, with a separate entrance for the designated setting that reduces infection transmission risk within the wider service.
