Fernbank Residential Home

Fernbank Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 46 older people, some living with dementia, with 42 residents at the time of inspection. The service occupies an adapted three-storey building with a new extension.

Residents felt safe and described staff as kind and considerate. Risk assessments were in place with appropriate mitigation measures. The home employed sufficient qualified staff who received training tailored to residents' needs. Infection control procedures had been updated in line with COVID-19 guidance to protect people and visitors.
