St Marguerite

St Marguerite provides accommodation and care for up to 24 older people with needs associated with older age, including dementia and memory loss. The adapted building is located in a residential area of Eastbourne and had 18 residents on the day of inspection, with some receiving respite care.

People told inspectors they felt safe and well cared for, and relatives were confident their loved ones' needs were being met. Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and understood how to respond to concerns of abuse or discrimination. One relative commented, "Staff are really switched on to him, ensuring he is relaxed, safe and happy."
