Sophia Care Home

Sophia Care Home is a care home in Kenton registered for seven people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, all seven registered places were occupied. The residents have significant support needs due to learning disabilities or mental health conditions, with some having additional needs including autistic spectrum conditions, communication impairments and epilepsy. The manager is the registered provider responsible for the service.

Residents reported feeling safe at the home. The service had previously been required to make improvements in relation to the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and inspectors confirmed that the provider had addressed these failures and demonstrated compliance across all key areas.
