Smyth Lodge

Smyth Lodge is a large care home set over three floors providing personal and nursing care for up to 80 people, currently supporting 57 residents. The service cares for people with nursing needs and those living with dementia.

People are kept safe through staff who understand how to protect them from identified risks. Appropriate recruitment checks are completed before staff begin work, and staff are deployed effectively throughout the home to meet residents' needs. Medicines are managed safely with systems in place to monitor, investigate and learn from incidents and accidents. Procedures to reduce infection risks are established and staff follow good infection control standards.
