Shannon Court Care Centre

Shannon Court Care Centre provides long and short-term residential care for up to 78 people in single rooms across three designated areas. Darcy Lounge supports people with general nursing needs, Oaken Lounge cares for people living with dementia who require nursing support, and Lantern Lounge supports people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity with 78 residents.

Systems in place helped safeguard people from abuse, with risk assessments and supporting measures minimising potential harm. Staff managed medicines safely and followed infection prevention and control guidance to reduce the spread of infection.
