Mill View Care Home

Mill View Care Home provides residential care for older people, including those with mobility and personal care needs. Following an earlier inspection, the CQC found continued breaches relating to safe care, person-centred support and governance, and the service remains rated Requires Improvement. Staffing shortages meant people faced delays with personal care, meals and mobility support, while care plans and risk assessments were not always accurate or kept up to date.

Inspectors found some kind and caring staff, but interactions were often rushed and task-focused. Meaningful activities were largely absent, leaving many people bored or isolated. Leadership had begun making changes, but oversight systems had not yet ensured consistent, safe and well organised care.
