Scarborough House

Scarborough House provides 24-hour personal care accommodation for up to 17 people. During periods of restricted visits, staff implemented innovative approaches to maintain residents' contact with family and friends, including outdoor meeting spaces, window visits, and facilitated virtual conversations using phones and tablets. All staff completed both PCR and lateral flow tests to protect the people in their care, demonstrating a strong commitment to infection prevention and control measures that enabled the home to balance safety with residents' wellbeing and important personal relationships.
