Saxon Lodge Residential Home Limited

Saxon Lodge provides accommodation for up to 23 people requiring nursing or personal care, many of whom live with dementia. At inspection, 18 people were resident at the service. The home had implemented strong visiting arrangements in line with government guidance, with visitors able to spend unrestricted time with loved ones in their rooms after completing Covid-19 tests. During outbreaks, a separate room with external access allowed visits without entering the main service. Staff had received infection control training and the home maintained accessible supplies of personal protective equipment throughout. Plans were in place to isolate people with confirmed Covid-19 to prevent transmission within the service.
