Highland House provides residential and nursing care for up to 30 people, many living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 27 people were resident at the service. The home supports people to maintain relationships with family and friends through flexible visiting arrangements, offering choice in where visits take place.

Staff facilitated quality time between residents and visitors in designated areas within the service, enabling meaningful interactions while ensuring proper health and safety measures were followed. Visitors could arrange times convenient to them, and staff worked to support social connections even during periods when visiting was limited, recognizing the importance of these relationships to residents' wellbeing and quality of life.
