Sandwood Care Home

Sandwood Care Home provides personal care and support to older people and people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 24 people were being supported with their personal care needs.

The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement from its previous Requires Improvement rating. People said they felt safe and were supported by kind, caring staff who respected their dignity and encouraged independence. Residents and relatives spoke positively about food, activities and knowing who to raise concerns with, and relatives said they would recommend the home to others.
