About Carisbrooke House

Carisbrooke House in Nottingham is a residential care home providing personal care and support for up to 8 people with a learning disability and autistic people, each with their own apartment. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall. Inspectors found leaders visible and supportive, and staff worked well with healthcare partners to help people access their community.

However, care plans were not consistently kept up to date, and governance systems failed to identify this or learn lessons to reduce future risks. There was little evidence of longer-term planning for people's future aspirations. The provider was found in breach of regulations on good governance and has been asked for an action plan to address these concerns.
