Sandstones

Sandstones is a residential care home providing personal care to 35 people aged 65 and over, each with their own single bedroom. Without exception, residents spoke of outstanding care and staff support. Everyone reported feeling safe and enjoying life at the home, having actively chosen to move there. Residents feel they have a sense of purpose and lead active, fulfilling lives thanks to the environment, community contact, and staff approach.

Residents feel in complete control of their care and able to contribute to the running of the home. One person captured their experience by saying, "I came for a look around and just never left, best thing I ever did."
