Roxburgh Lodge

This new build residential care home provides accommodation for up to 8 adults with learning difficulties, some of whom may also have physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, all 8 places were occupied. Staff knew residents well and supported them to identify and work towards both daily and longer-term goals, with a focus on maintaining and developing their independence. The home operated quality assurance systems to monitor the service, though these had not always identified all concerns found during the inspection. Safe recruitment practices were in place, and feedback was regularly sought from residents, relatives and healthcare professionals to help assess the quality and safety of the service.
