Rosegarland Residential Care Home

Rosegarland Residential Care Home provides care and support for up to 18 older people, some of whom are living with dementia. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found safe staffing levels, a consistent staff team who knew people well, and a clean, homely environment.

Some improvements were needed around medicines management, though people were receiving them as prescribed.

Feedback from people and relatives was consistently positive, describing staff as kind, caring and attentive. The long-standing registered manager was leaving at the time of assessment, with a new manager recently appointed after a short handover, but the management team responded promptly to inspectors' feedback throughout.
