Rosewood House

Rosewood House provides personal and nursing care to up to 16 people with learning disabilities, some with complex nursing needs. The home is adapted for people with physical disabilities and located on a site that includes three other residential care homes run by the same provider, along with a swimming pool and restaurant. At the time of inspection, 15 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that the model of care and setting did not consistently maximise people's choice and independence. There was little evidence of people's aspirations and goals or what support they needed from staff to achieve them. The service did not ensure people had a fulfilling and meaningful everyday life, and people did not have the same level of contact with their local community as any other citizen.
