Rivermead is a residential care home providing personal care to 33 older people living with dementia. The CQC found the service had improved from Requires Improvement to Good, with inspectors noting strong, caring practice throughout. Staff were attentive and unrushed, knew people well, and treated them with dignity, while the home itself was clean, welcoming and dementia friendly.

Inspectors found enough staff were available to spend time with people, and residents and relatives spoke warmly of the care they received. Leadership was well regarded, with staff feeling supported by an open, approachable management team. Quality monitoring systems were in place and improvements were made where needed.
