Richmond Court Nursing Home

Richmond Court Nursing Home provides personal care and nursing for up to 39 people, including those with dementia. At inspection, 30 people were using the service.

The home had significant safeguarding concerns. Systems for assessing and monitoring risks related to dietary needs, infection control, and medicine storage were not effective. While safeguarding processes existed, people didn't always feel safe. However, the home demonstrated effective processes for learning from issues and making improvements.

Staff did not consistently support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, though the home showed commitment to developing these areas further.
