The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that risks were well managed, medicines were administered safely and staff were suitably trained and recruited. Previous breaches around safe care, consent, dignity and governance had been addressed, though improvements to fire safety had not always been made swiftly.

Inspectors found people felt safe, well cared for and treated with respect, with staff who knew their individual needs and preferences. People and relatives said staff were kind and available, food and accommodation were good, and complaints were listened to. Governance systems were in place to support ongoing improvement.
