Redstacks

Redstacks accommodates up to 14 older people, including those with dementia-related conditions, in one adapted building. At inspection, 12 people were using the service.

While a quality and safety monitoring system was in place, it was not always effective in identifying and addressing issues. Safety checks of the premises and equipment were not routinely carried out. Staff training had shortfalls that prevented them from carrying out their roles effectively in line with people's individual assessed needs, with inspectors recommending additional specialist training.
