Woodleigh Manor Residential Care Home, in East Riding of Yorkshire, provides residential care for older people, including many living with advanced dementia or complex needs, for up to 34 people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding that risks were well managed, staffing and medicines were handled safely, and leadership provided clear oversight with effective governance and learning from incidents.

Inspectors found care to be an outstanding strength, with people treated with exceptional kindness, dignity and compassion, and strong, trusting relationships between staff, residents and families. Care was person-centred, flexible and responsive to changing needs, supported by very low staff turnover. Relatives described staff as warm, attentive and like family, and said they felt fully involved and reassured about safety.
