Personal protective equipment is readily available and used correctly, and a regular testing programme operates for both staff and residents. The management team monitors staff competencies to ensure standards are maintained.

Following the inspection, the registered manager addressed safety concerns by installing staircase safety barriers to reduce risks. However, records require strengthening in several areas. The home needs to better document checks on visitors' current health status and ensure staff have clear information about what to monitor.

Additionally, records should be improved to clarify actions staff should take when caring for residents during health emergencies.
