Rosewood Lodge Residential Home

Rosewood Lodge provides personal care for up to 20 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 15 people were using the service. The home had strong safety measures in place, with visitors monitored for COVID-19 symptoms and supervised to ensure they followed infection control guidelines and wore appropriate personal protective equipment. Staff also maintained social distancing where possible and wore PPE during personal care or close contact with residents.

The service supported people to maintain relationships with family, friends and religious groups through phone and video calls. A dedicated visiting area was available with a booking system to ensure appropriate cleaning between uses, and processes were in place to enable relatives to visit people at the end of their lives.
