About Redbrick Court

Redbrick Court is a residential care home in Dudley, providing personal care for older people, including those living with dementia and physical or sensory disabilities, as well as respite care for people recovering from hospital. The findings below set out what CQC inspectors most recently observed.

Redbrick Court provides personal care for older people, including those living with dementia and physical or sensory disabilities. The home also offers respite care for people recovering from hospital. At inspection, 27 people were living at the service, which offers a range of communal areas including a cinema room, sensory room, library and café.

However, inspectors identified significant concerns with medicines management. People's medicines were not always stored safely, with staff failing to recognise that some medicines were stored at incorrect temperatures, rendering them unsafe to use. Additionally, expired medicines had not been properly removed from stock.
