The home provides personal and nursing care to up to 53 older people, some with physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, 45 people were living there. Staff followed safe recruitment processes and received training in safeguarding. People reported feeling safe at the home, and the provider was proactive in maintaining staffing levels.

However, the home's quality assurance systems were not always effective and failed to identify issues discovered during inspection. Environmental checks and care records, particularly monitoring charts for food and fluid intake and pressure relief, required improvement. Gaps were observed in records for people requiring support in these areas.
