Brindley Manor Nursing Home

Brindley Manor Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 43 people, supporting younger and older adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health needs, and dementia. At inspection, 38 people were living at the home. Staff had received training in safeguarding and understood how to protect residents from harm, discrimination, and abuse. There were sufficient staff to meet people's needs safely, and recruitment procedures were secure. Medicines were managed by trained staff, and infection control systems were in place. Care plans were developed based on assessments of people's needs and choices to achieve positive outcomes. Staff received effective induction and training to support them in their roles, and the home worked collaboratively with external professionals to ensure coordinated care. Residents were supported with balanced diets, and any risks related to eating and drinking were assessed and managed. The home had an ongoing programme of refurbishment and redecoration.
