About Providence Court

Providence Court is a residential care home in Hertfordshire. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Providence Court, in Hertfordshire, is a purpose-built care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 61 people, with 55 living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service requires improvement overall, a decline from its previous good rating, with concerns around skin integrity, consistent safe working practices, and governance systems that were not robust enough to identify and resolve these issues.

Inspectors found positives too: people and relatives spoke well of kind, helpful staff and a responsive management team, and there were enough staff to meet needs. People received their medicines correctly, care plans were person-centred, and staff worked well with external health and social care professionals.
