Princess Lodge provides personal care for up to 36 older people, some living with dementia, with 30 residents at the time of inspection. The home operates from one adapted building with a staffing structure that includes five care staff, a senior care worker, a registered nurse, and a deputy manager during day shifts. Night cover is provided by two staff members with management on-call. The operations manager supports the deputy manager, who is present on site full time, while also dividing time between Princess Lodge and another home. Additional support comes from cleaning staff and a cook.
