Princes Court is a nursing home in North Tyneside, providing care for older people, including those living with dementia, and also offering a rehabilitation unit for people admitted from hospital. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent view of the service.

Princes Court provides personal and nursing care for up to 75 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. The service operates a rehabilitation unit called Royal Quays where people admitted from hospital can recover and regain their independence. At the time of inspection, 72 people were living at the service.

People, relatives and staff spoke positively about the home. One relative said, "If you have someone who needs help, I would recommend this place 110%. It's a joy coming here, the staff are great.

" Staff explained they had worked as a team throughout the pandemic to support people's wellbeing and said the care at the home would be good enough for one of their own relatives or friends.
