The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding people, relatives and staff spoke positively about the care, management and improvements made since new ownership took over in 2024. Staff were described as attentive and morale as strong, with significant refurbishment underway.

Inspectors did identify some shortfalls, including gaps in checking staff qualifications, inconsistent medicines record-keeping, some moving and handling practice that did not follow best guidance, and delays with mealtimes in two of the three suites. The registered manager had already begun addressing these issues, and people and relatives raised no concerns themselves about safety or medicines.
